Welcome from the Head
St Francis’ is a caring school with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where everyone is valued and respected as part of God’s family. Our Christian atmosphere is enriched through prayer, worship and shared Gospel values which all play an important part in our school life. The school is in the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton and serves the Catholic community of the Tandridge parishes of Caterham, Warlingham and Oxted.
We provide a strong learning community with dedicated and enthusiastic staff who are committed to ensuring that all children in our school make excellent progress and achieve to their highest ability. Our school successfully promotes equality of opportunity for pupils’ learning and is a place where pupils support and respect each other.
In addition to providing a challenging and stimulating curriculum, St Francis’ offers children a wide range of opportunities through extra-curricular clubs and activities. There are also many opportunities for children to participate in sporting, musical and local community events.
The Governors, Staff and Parents of St Francis form a committed and valuable community partnership where we all take an active part in the children’s education. We believe that through this our children not only develop academically, but grow as confident, independent individuals and so have the best grounding for life.
We hope you find our website informative. You are warmly invited to visit our busy and friendly school and arrangements to visit can be made via the school office.
