In the morning we will carry out our  Health and Safety checks. We assess the site and grounds and local roads/hills in the morning to see how accessible and safe it is. We check which staff can get to school (many live some distance away), and that the kitchen can provide meals. Then, in consultation with the Chair of Governors, a decision is taken on whether to remain open or to close. This is then posted here on the website. The PTA usually post to the class pages too. Please do not ring school - watch the website and PTA pages. We aim to make decisions, where possible, by 7am.
