Forest School Fun

16th October 2018

Both Reception classes have been going to Forest School every Tuesday afternoon.

Our first task in this session was to find an interesting stick.
I found a pretty stick.
I found a stick that looks like a number 1.
I found some sticks that could balance on top of each other.

We then went back to base camp and told each other why we had chosen our sticks. Miss Nash showed us how we should carry sticks around the site.

We then went off to play. We found a hole in the woods and started digging it with our sticks.
We had great fun rolling down the hill.
We got a bit muddy but we loved it.
We enjoyed exploring in the wood.
We made mud and used our sticks to paint with.
In the woods there were lots of little hills, we had great fun climbing on them.
We also enjoyed jumping off the hills.
We have a special place where we can dig in Forest School.
We enjoyed both classes being together.
Whilst we were digging we found a worm.
We loved getting our hands mudding and making handprints on the trees.

Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to help, the children love having you around.
