A good day is a cake day!
13th February 2020
It's been a short week but as always very busy. We have continued doing fraction work in maths and have been focusing particularly on halves, quarters and thirds. We have also started our new topic on Christopher Columbus and completed our Science topic on 'Plants'.
The children from John Fisher wore their house colours today so we took a photo to celebrate!
The end of the day brought with it the cake sale run by the Juniors and as always it was extremely popular!
There is no homework for the holiday period except for the Science poster to complete. The children still have their spellings and times tables to practice and they have taken home two reading books to keep them going. Please talk to the children about the things you do in the holidays especially when you go out for the day. It would be great if the children could name the places they went to and have an idea of where they are in the country or abroad.
Have a lovely half term.
