We had a busy week this week and the children have been working hard and progressing well. Thank you as always to those of you who have come in to hear readers.
It has come to our notice that some of the children are bringing in money to buy cartons of fruit juice. These cartons are actually for the juniors and I think there has been a misunderstanding with the prefects who are selling them. Hopefully, this has been sorted now. The infants have their free fruit for break time and the juniors sell fairtrade juice instead. From now on any cake/biscuit sale will be mentioned in the school newsletter so unless you see it there the little ones do not need to bring money to school. Next week is National Poetry Week so please encourage your child to read some poems or rhymes. If they want to bring a favourite poem into school we can all share it. The theme of the week is 'freedom' so we shall be basing our English work on this. Below are a few photos of some of the children enjoying activities during 'wet playtime'.
