A 'memorable' trip to the Rural Life Centre
After an awful journey to the Rural Life Centre, we managed to have a wonderful time in the Victorian school room, enjoyed a wander around the exhibits and learned about how Victorians did their washing.
Due to getting stuck in traffic and stopping off at Cobham Services for a needed 'toilet break', we finally arrived at the Rural Life Centre a lot later than expected. The fantastic staff there were very accommodating and made sure that the children experienced as much as they could in the time available. We'd like to say an enormous 'thank you' to all of our parents helpers and teaching assistants, who ensured that the day went as smoothly as possible. It was fantastic to arrive to find the lunches laid our for us and it meant that the children could have a speedy lunch and begin the activities as quickly as possible.
Please find below a selection of photos taken on the day.
