Crazy Hair Day and a Shabbat Celebration

Our final day of the half term was 'Crazy Hair Day'.  Thank you for all of the donations brought in to raise money to help Chloe's brother.

In our RE lessons the children have been learning about Judaism and on the last day of the topic, we held our own Shabbat Celebration.  We watched a video which showed us what blessings to say and told us about the challah (bread), the wine and the candles.  Well done to all of the children for taking part with such enthusiasm and for also writing their own blessings afterwards.

After the half term holiday we will be starting our new History topic 'Remembrance' and are looking forward to visiting St. Luke's Church on Wednesday 16th November to see the war graves.  Thank you for those who have offered to help.

Please remember to bring in your shoe boxes filled with gifts so that

we can help give people in need a better Christmas.
