Beech Class Update
What an eventful week we had last week!
A huge well done to all of the children for coping so sensibly last Tuesday during the awful storm and flood. Everyone was very brave and it was lovely to see the children looking after each other and following instructions so maturely and calmly. We are looking forward to getting back to school this week and are particularly lucky because the Beech classroom was unaffected by the flooding. We are going swimming as usual on Monday. PE kits will be sent home on Monday for a wash as the children were wearing them during the storm. Please wash plimsolls and trainers too.
Since the last blog we have said goodbye to our butterflies and our frogs. It was wonderful to see our little creatures growing and changing, a great way to learn about life cycles. Our next topic will be in Geography and we are going to be comparing Brighton and New York. If you have been to either of these places, please talk about this at home.
