Oak and Elm Classes had the most wonderful time at Gatton Park!
After a fun-filled coach journey with lots of singing, we reached Gatton Park, pleased that the clouds were yet to rain. Unfortunately after an exciting creepy-crawly story, the rain began to plummet! It was an incredibly wet day. Having said this, it was incredible to see the children pond dipping and mini-beast hunting despite the adversity. They amazed all adults involved with their perseverance! On the way home the children returned with smiles just as large as when they left.
Thank you to all of the wonderful adults who volunteered their time to help the day run smoothly. We hope you managed to dry off in the warmth of your homes!
