Spring Term Fun in Oak Class
We have had a great first half of the Spring Term in Oak class! We have been busy and working hard but also having lots of fun along the way.
We really enjoyed watching the Snow Queen performance, we found it quite funny! We also created our own settings for the story and then retold the story with our own twist to it. Some of our stories took place in a deep, dark forest or a land full of sweets!
Our topic in RE at the moment is 'Meals' and we have been learning about what makes a meal special and meals within the Catholic church that are special, including the Last Supper. As a class we created our own plates of food using tissue paper and wrote prayers to be said at a meal. We then stuck our people and plates down and created a big picture of us all sharing a special meal together!
Also in Oak Class we are enjoying doing gymnastics for PE in the hall with Mrs Soares. We have been looking at balancing and rolling and have also been able to have a go on the big apparatus!
We are looking forward to World book day after half term!
