Sports Funding
Below you will find details of how our school uses its Sport Funding.
The PE and Sports Premium is funding provided to primary schools to help provide high-quality PE provision and opportunities. It is used to make additions to and improve the PE, sport and physical activities they provide. The sports funding is ring-fenced and can only be spent on sport and PE provision.
Schools should use the PE and Sports Premium to improve the following 5 areas:
- increasing all staff’s confidence, knowledge and skills in teaching PE and sport
- increasing engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity and sport
- raising the profile of PE and sport across the school, to support whole school improvement
- offer a broader and equal experience of a range of sports and physical activities to all pupils
- increase participation in competitive sport
